Dinosaur Bones consist of Ben Fox (vocals/guitar/keys), Joel Clifton (guitar), Branko Scekic (bass), Dave Wickland (keys), and Lucas Fredette (drums). Dinosaur Bones formed in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Nominated for XM Verge Music Awards for “Artist of the Year” and “Album of the Year”. You can catch Dinosaur Bones at Gus’ Pub in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada on April 10 2010 and they will have a release party for their full-length album at Call the Office w/ The Bad Ideas in London, Ontario Canada on April 16 2010.

I saw Dinosaur Bones open for The Marble Index at The Casbah in Hamilton, Ontario Canada quite a few months ago. Dinosaur Bones were giving out their Ep for free and I took one. I have just listened to it for the first time now and I really like the Ep. I thought they were good live, but you catch everything sound wise when it is live. On album it is easier to pick apart what a band is like. On this Ep I thought Dinosaur Bones sound quite a bit like The Strokes and a little bit like Modest Mouse. The sound quality is very good for an Ep. You usually spend about $5 on a bands Ep and I would of been happy to give up the $5 for this Ep, but I am happy to get anything for free.
